Look at the map

We currently say:

Syrian part = West-Kurdistan
Turkish part = North-Kurdistan
i-racki part = South-Kurdistan
Iran part = East-Kurdistan

That doesn't make sense. That means West-Kurdistan is only the small Syrian part and the most Southern part of Greater Kurdistan is actually called East-Kurdistan.

We should not look at the artificial borders, we should ''re design'' te meaning of what is exactly the South, what is exactly the North etc.

DO You agree? :)
We just use those names to make it easier for ourselfes, once our homeland is liberated, we can talk about these regions.

By the way, this map has excluded most of western Kurdistan :koko:

No, not most of. I believe only the 'strip' is missing, but Qamishli is the largest city and most Kurds in WK live there.
I don't know why they have excluded the other parts.

Well if we look at this map here, we can see, that the "stripe" is obviously a major part of WK:
And that's only first stage, the map will get bigger at some point in time, when we know the full scale of the liberation.

Oh well, everybody makes mistakes, but i find it funny, that they have included quite alot of Turkish populated lands.

It's funny because it misses out parts of WK, but includes all of Ilam and West Lorestan. :D
Thats not the problematic part but that it included territories which are not in majority Kurdish in North, like Sivas (only a part in the east is).

Does anyone have the map with the various major Kurdish tribes from various parts of Kurdistan? ( Mitan, Bazid, Miran, Mereshi, Barzan, Soran etc.)?

I think I know which one you mean. It is from Izady and one of the most reliable ones.

Yes because it states the areas where these tribes were or are active. I need to find this map again. I think I saw it posted either here or on RBK.

What I meant was what should be the North, West, South and East according to the Greater Kurdistan map (without looking at the artificial borders).

There are some Laki speakers in Amed (around Lice) and Central Anatolia.

Do you know which tribe? I know a Turkish girl from Adana and she says she has Kurdish ancestry from that region.
I knew it but have forgotten it. Its two-three tribes I thing. really almost 1/4-1/5 of the Central Anatolian Kurds are actually Laks.
