They don't treat Bashur and Bakur the same. Many EU states want our oil and gas, to buy less from Russia. It has nothing to do with Erdogen.

“Separate referendums will decided South Kurdistan and disputed regions”

Posted Image

Kurdistani Alliance Faction deputy leader said two separate referendums should decide about South Kurdistan’s independence from Iraq and the annex of disputed regions to the autonomous region.

A referendum should be held in South Kurdistan to decide the independence of the region from the central government, Muhsen al-Sa’adoon told al-Baghdadiyeh news, adding that the referendum sill not include the disputed regions that both Baghdad and Erbil governments claim authority over.

He further added the region’s parliament can not decide about the fate of the region and it is the people who decide about the fate of the autonomous enclave to declare its independence from Iraq.

He went on to say that the situation in Iraq has made the region to take precautionary steps to protect its people.

He however said a separate referendum should be held in the disputed regions and ask people if they want to join South Kurdistan.

I am worried about the results as 70% of our territory in Kerkûk is kurdish.

We don't need a shizz, Peshmerga is there, KG will make sure the tens of thousands of Peshmerga will be able to vote too if we fall too short which I HEAVILY doubt. Kerkûk is 90% ethnic Kurds, we aren't including Hawija.

Kurds are a majority in Kirkuk (excluding Hawija, that is!). We need more than 50%. In the recent parliamentary elections in Iraq, 48% of Kirkuk governate voted for Kurdish parties. That is about 600.000 Kurds in Kirkuk governate. But in our situation, we're excluding the non-Kurdish cities, which are Hawija, Beşiir Kasabasi, Dirban and Riyadh.

Kirkuk governate has about 1.4 million inhabitants. Kirkuk itself has about 900.000 inhabitants.
Hawija, the second largest city in Kirkuk governate, has a population of 450.000 Sunni Arabs.
There is no information available regarding the population size in the other non-kurdish cities in Kirkuk, however, my guess would be around 50.000 non kurds.

So 1.4 million minus 500.000 = 900.000 inhabitants. This means that out of the remaining 900.000 inhabitants, 600.000 are Kurds (based on the parliamentary elections), which not only makes us a majority, but also a plurality and that's what we need.

Where is Israel and Jordan?
Great! Most great nations have recognized us; Germany, China, Japan, India, France, Israel, South Korea etc.

US will in the end recognize it. The break up of Iraq would be a huge blow to them politically, both on a national and international level.

Regarding Russia, the reason Russia haven't backed the idea of a break up of Iraq is because of the fact that it would isolate Assad. You all know how much Russia wants Assad in power, and the breakup of Iraq would destroy the Iran-Iraq-Syria bridge between them. Iran is one of the major reasons why Assad remains in power. Cutting that "bridge" would deprive Assad of much needed logistics. Shia Iraq would not have a border with Syria, only Kurdistan and Sunni Iraq would (none of which would allow Iran to send logistics over). So it is important to understand that Russia is not against Kurdistan, it is against the break up of Iraq. Politically, there is a difference.
Russia will also recognize us in the end. It might get some criticism because its own Chechen population, but money speaks louder than words.

Where is Israel and Jordan?
If so many European Union countries will recognize us, the rest will too (Netherlands, Luxembourg, UK, Estonia, Denmark, etc. Though Spain probably not). Especially if France and Germany have recognized us.

The same was the case with the recognition of Kosovo.

How does that make him a Jash? No crap his going to dismiss it in front of Iranians. Its a political tactic. And are you honestly believing Fars News? Come on man, you seem to always be quick to jump the gun when it comes to Adel Murad and any comments he supposedly makes. I've already shown the video where Kurdish news channel interviews him, he says no such thing.
