Its simple bomb Arab areas until they flee replace with Kurds and other non-arab minorities. Dont let the Arabs back in. (accuse them of being IS or their supporters to justify bombings)

Mosul is Kurdish and always will be no Arab ever belonged their in the first place and we will take Mandali back with the power of Peshmerga, no trade offs what is this Pokemon? Were dealing with Arabs here... Diako_ber you have a lot to learn my young padawan.

This is only my personal opinion, but we really must find a solution for Mosul. There a lot of anti kurdish bias there. There s no nice solution there. We need to impose our will on them. Mosul in its current form is a great danger for us. The one controlling Mosul, is controlling the gates of kurdistan. The people of Mosul have let the islamic state in. The majority stood silent in the face of the IS. They want to ethnically cleanse the area. People in iraq have no culture of responsabilty because mistakes wont be punished. They attacked everyone else be it turcoman assyrians or kurds, even fellow arabs. We really need to check all the people of Mosul and force old baathists and IS supporters to leave. I hope that the majority gets neutralyzed anyway and the city will be cleansed from them.

No those are completely different than these.. I've added a photo of the DT ones for comparison, the DT ones have longer and more flat bonnets while the other one has shorter bonnet and not flat but rather steep. And the headlights are also different.

Peshmerga Hit IS in Mosul

By RUDAW 2 hours ago

ERBIL, South Kurdistan – Kurdish Peshmerga forces equipped with new heavy weapons have opened a new front in their fight against the Islamic State (IS/ISIS), attacking the group in its stronghold of Mosul, a military official said.

The past 12 hours have seen some of the fiercest fighting between the Peshmerga and IS militants at Gogjalil, outside Mosul.

A Peshmerga official said his forces have killed four IS militants and captured three. On Tuesday night, eight IS militants were killed and 11 wounded. Two Peshmerga soldiers were also injured.

Ranja Jamal, reporting for Rudaw from the frontline, said that the Peshmerga had repelled an attack Wednesday morning, destroying several IS vehicles.

“The vehicles caught fire and the attack didn’t succeed,” said Jamal, who spoke to Rudaw Radio live from the scene.

Also Wednesday morning, a truck bomb targeted a Peshmerga checkpoint at the village of Aliya Rash near Mosul, martyring a major and wounding 13 Kurdish soldiers.

Peshmerga sources said they had tried to stop the truck by firing on it before it reached the checkpoint.

According to our reporter, heavy Peshmerga bombardment destroyed an IS arsenal in Gogjalil on Tuesday.

A large force of IS fighters in 40 vehicles is said to have taken position at the Gogjalil cemetery, from where they are locked in battle with the Peshmerga.

The Kurds heavily bombed the center of Mosul on Tuesday, said the Rudaw reporter, which was confirmed by IS postings on the Internet.

The Kurdish forces, who share more than 1,000 kilometers of border with the self-declared Islamic State, are closest to the group’s position at Mosul, which the militants have named as their capital.

Before the start of the offensive over the weekend, both sides sat on two ends of a bridge only 500 meters apart.

Could anyone link me to the new Rudaw video about Mosul Dam being in control of Peshmerga? Or was it a video by Wladimir?

Some stupid Arabs believe IS has control of it, and I am going to prove them wrong on LiveLeak.
