Beautiful, but I think it is very expensive considering the following facts: 1: It is an apartment (not popular in Kurdistan, Kurds are used to real homes) 2: It is located in the outskirts of Slemani, so its not great location wise 3: It probably comes unfurnished, etc. so on top of the minimum $100K cash + a lot of other stuff to buy I believe my uncle invested/works on this project, but not sure. I know he's working on a major real estate project in that area, either these apartments or a second/third ''German village'', but anyways, still too expensive in my opinion. 60K would be better value for the cheapest apartments. I am all for making money etc. but the real estate market in South-Kurdistan is CRAZY. My uncle paid around 400-500k just for a piece of land (I believe between 300-400 square meters) on a top location in Slemani. That's just insane amount of money, 10 years ago you would've bought the same lot for maybe 15k ... I hope this isn't a 'bubble', because if it bursts, many people will lose a lot of money... including a lot of people in my family :(. |
