Great pictures.
I am confused by God's wisdom:
In this world of States
Why have the Kurds remained Stateless, dispossessed,
What for have they all become fugitives, condemned?

watch the video, it has been rejected by Kirkuk police to let even one checkpoint to Dijla.

http://www.nrttv.com/video-dreje.aspx?jimare=310

Quote:

The Kirkuk Provincial Council (KPC) has refused to hand over the checkpoints to the Iraqi army, after the Iraqi Ministry of Defense (MoD) urged them to do so.
Recently, the MoD issued an order urging Kirkuk officials to hand over the checkpoints to the Iraqi army, which are controlled by the police now.* However, the KPC’s Security Committee declined the request.

“The decision of the MoD concerning the Kirkuk checkpoints from police to army was in the KPC,” according to Ahmed Askari, the head of the KPC’s Security Committee.* “As KPC, we declined the order and do not let the handover happen at any cost.” *There was no further information or reasons giving any detail released concerning the basis of the rejection.

In the past, some Arabs and Turkmens demanded the handover of the checkpoints from the police to the Iraqi army, but the majority of the KPC rejected such proposals. *The decision was made following a suggestion of the Iraqi PM Nouri***** al-Maliki for the handover..."

its very safe compared to the iraqi cities but it is not as safe as the other 3 provinces, soon inshalla it will be 100% safe, since now Peshmerga has surrounded the entire province minus Hawija.

Translated by me:

Today Kirkuk police arrested a terrorist in a south check point of the city with a car full of bombs, which he intended on detonating in Kirkuk city.

When the policemen tried to arrest him at first, he opened fire on the policemen injuring two of them and later on one of them due to the deepness of his wounds, one of the policemen passed away in Azadi hospital.

But in the end the police was able to arrest the terrorist who had come from Iraq, and the car was confiscated and later defused.
