Russian Girenak Joseph, who visited Kirkuk in Kurdistan as a part of his tour throu the 1870 - 1873 AD, who published the results of his trip & his studies later in 1879, in the 4th volume in the Bulletin of the Caucasus department of the Royal Geographical Russian Society estimated Kirkuk's population as many as 12-50,000 people, & he emphasized that except 40 Christian families, the rest of the population were Kurds. As for The Turkmen & Arabs, they have not been already existed at the time.

I think they didn't started the real construction yet, they are focusing on selling now before the start of the construction

I hope they are back as soon as possible. This project will definetly gives several 1000 of job opportunities in kurdistan.

The projects is off.. Masror Barzani and Necherivan had some issues, and Masror stopped the project! really sad to know that some poeple have so much power :O

So what are they going to do then? and how can you just decide to own land like this!!!! apparently Hero in Suli does the same... but Najmadin Karim in Kirkuk doesnt allow anyone to own shizz... haha

you might be right, but I think it is more because of security situation in the region that scared Emaar to invest so much money....
