Great video - Hewler changed a lot really. But we have Slemanyi anniversary on thursday as well. So we have all week to commemorate three cities. Lets find everything we can about that - we will make a documentary here.

But remember people, it is also the month of Newroz. The month where we resist yet again, and the month where we will keep resisting!

I think i couldnt go there. Like i am scared to go to Halabja, although i am thinking about it - this year - i know it will cost me a lot, i am not sure i am ready for that, but i also feel its my duty. This year i am going to Kurdistan 16 march - its the worse date to make a trip, but its airplane, not the city bus that going every half an hour, so i had to chose the one like that (other date were expensive and too late or too early to go). So i think i should do something for chosing that date - like to go to Halabja.

no heval this is way before the uprising, i have a pic of Barzani in 1991 he is older than this. :)

FYI, it was PUK who did most of the uprising in Suli, Hawler and Kirkuk, PDK then liberated Duhok, as when it first began Barzani was in Karaj - Iran.

This is Barzani, Nawshirwan Mustafa and Hakm Qadr during the uprising, planning the liberation of Duhok, but Duhok liberation was headed by Barzani himself
