So, what are the new projects for Kirkuk?

I thought the city would have been in bad shape since it was administrate by Iraq. But I can see it's looking good, and many things had been built recently!!!

So now that's in Kurdish government hands, are they new big projects?

I can see the historical centre (fort and old buildings) needs lot of work to be restored!

Just came back from a visit to the heart of Kurdistan... I visited there because a family member had an engagment party there and I was invited...

Didnt take photos though but apparently when I came to the border I needed a Visa of Iraq in order to stay there.. They told me that my Visa was for Kurdistan so I could only stay for 2 days :(

Kirkuk belongs to Kurdistan.. If Iraq wont like give the disputed land to Kurdistan in three months KRG can just leave Iraq by themself.. Its not like Iraq shizz army can take back Kirkuk haha

The only time I saw Iraqi officials was in the checkpoint.. The rest I only see asaish or something with a Kurdish flag on their uniform instead of Iraqi flag..

Yeah I agree ALAN.... SK just f**king break up.. SK is stronger than Iraq currently in terms of military power.. And Turkey cant touch SK anyway.. I mean they do realize 1/3 of turkey is made up of Kurds.. If those kurds have the will they might as well just mass revolt..

1400 years ago the arab conquest began by demolishing museums, libraries, schools, historical sites of the countries they invaded including Kurdistan. This was their main strategy for assimilating the Kurds. We have all the right to implement the same strategy.

At the bottom under the swords, it says Iraq in Arabic. We need one that says "Welcome to Kurdistan" in Kurdish and English. :)
