DT has been in close cooperation with the US for more than 2 decades, while the Iraqi units for less than 1 decade. The training to become a DT fighter is of better standard than the one of ISOF, and that shows on the battlefield. Also, the discipline in DT is unmatched in Iraq, and their organisational structure is also highly effective (more effective than that of ISOF, as this war has shown). Even more importantly, the intelligence network (which is also in close cooperation with western intelligence, in particular that of the US) and CoC of DT is way more robust than the one of ISOF. A retired USN specialist also called the Kurdish CTG (Suli DT) more professional/capable than the ISOF. That does not mean the ISOF is not a force to be reckoned with. |

ISOF are better than the (suli DT) , but a problem that faces the ISOF now is a significant increase in the numbers and do not receive the new elements of good training and most of them very young, ISOF proved power in Baiji battles and Anbar and the Battle of the Mousl dam and many other battles, the ISOF progressing all fronts and not a single one front. ISOF is not the best special forces in Iraq, the best special forces in Iraq is a (TACTICAL TEAM) , the only thing that suli DT is better than ISOF (good trainer) is camoflage Brayan please Be Reality know the truth of the enemy power is one of the reasons to win the war sorry for low english

It is expected that the majority population also has the best fighting force does it not. They also have the most funding and training from the US, but Im more than certain our Peshmerga will destroy an average iraqi/shiite militia soldier any day. |

We had a chance but Kurdish leaders did not take it , and now there is an opportunity but i don't think that kurdish leader will take them |
