While reflecting on a possible armed liberation of NK & EK in the future I came to a realization. If, in any event, it came to a war of attrition against Turkey or Iran, we would always lose due to a large disparity in population size and natural resources(here I am thinking of minerals moreso than energy). If we only capture the territories we are interested in (NK and EK) we can also expect them to try to retake it, making it a war of attrition which as noted before we are certain to lose. Therefore, if we somehow achieve the capability to wage offensive war against these two countries at some point in the future, such a war must include their total defeat, ideally in one blow. If we were to attack Turkey or Iran, there is also a high chance that the unattacked country of the two will decide that an attack on them is now inevitable(we want to liberate the other part too) and preempt it while our forces are committed against the other enemy. Therefore we must either preempt their preemtive attack or guard the border with enough forces to repel an attack, and an eventual two-front war of the kind that Germany fought in the World Wars is very probable. It's possible that Turkey and Iran would form an anti-Kurdish alliance and even draw in Arab countries, now that we are a 'rogue nation' in the Middle-East. If SK + WK are approximately 100.000 square km, Turkey and Iran are 7.8 and 16.5 times our size, respectively. We would have to defeat and occupy them in full, it would have to be done in one blow not to make it a war of attrition, and we would most likely be fighting them simultaneously. I don't think this has any precedent in military history and I'm inclined to doubt its possibility, especially so with a bunch of incompetents in charge incapable of solving our landlocked geopolitical problem as well as running a country in general, which makes the prospect of even achieving the capability to wage war on Turkey and Iran seem ages away.
