There are british sources which show that they are Christian Kurds. Chaldeans are different from Assyrians. They are Kurdish friendly. Also Assyrians used to call them "magicans" magican was a cast among Medes.

I can't find the British sources. But in the Greek sources Zoroaster is often described as the 'Chaldean' and magi as the 'Chaldeans.'

I attached an article about Ezdi ( The Diverse Heritage of Yezidi Tradition ) where this has been said in .pdf file.

Chaldeans are semitic and are in no way associated to Kurds. Chaldeans are a more nationalist variant of Assyrians. The Chaldeans I met were very pro-Saddam and hate Kurds, some of them made fun of Anfal victims.

No Chaldeans are the best. It's true that they are more Semitic than we Kurds are, but Chaldeans are partly Iranic (Median/Kurdic). They have lots of Gedrosia aDNA in them, more than Armenians and Assyrians do. Real semites like Saudi Arabs don't have Gedrosia in them at all. Chaldeans are our brothers.

I don't understand why you even call yourself a nationalist lollolOk ok bra they are our brothers, we share everything, and we are very semitic suddenly (really, aren't you ashamed of this statement?) and if we gave them power they would never use it against us, how can they brother right, they are the same blood doh. And lets not forget that they also speak fluently Kurdish, and they don't speak Arabic, lastly they hate Iraq

I suppose you would also claim Persians to be our brothers too, since they are more related to us than Chaldeans? Bro, listen to yourself...has a Chaldean girl corrupted you?

Honestly, never met a bad Chaldean in my life!

Together with the ancient Chaldeans (neo-Babylonians, mixed with Mitanni/Kassites and other ancient Iranic tribes) the Medes (Kurds) defeated the Assyrian Empire. Since that moment ancient Chaldeans and the ancient Medes grow closer to each other. As time passed by, Chaldeans (already mixed with Iranic people) were little by little genetically more influenced by the Aryans (Kurds/Medes) from the Aryan Zagros Mountains.

Also, all Kurds have some Semitic blood/DNA in us from the ancient Jews and Chaldeans.

Ancient Persians were Kurds from Aryan Kurdish Zagros Mountains.

Page 70-71 (page 70, footnote 84) of the article about the Chaldeans and Oracles of Zoroaster, or as the Magic Oracles of Zoroastrian Magi

Footnote 84:

" In the Greek sources Zoroaster is often described as the “Chaldean” and magi as the “Chaldeans.” Cf. Bidez, Cumont, 1938: 252; des Places, 1971: 52 f..; Burns, 2006: 158–179. "

I believe that Chaldeans and other people who later in our era became known as Chaldeans were Zoroastrians before they became Christians. But the thing with Christianity, unlike with the Yezidism, is that EVRYBODY and every race can become a Christian, Arabs & Turkman can be Christians too. So that's why current Chaldeans are not 100% exactly the same as ancient Zoroastrian Chaldeans. Ancient Zoroastrian Chaldean had close ties witch the Medes.

How can you call yourself a nationalist by excluding possible Kurdish minorities/groups?
Chaldeans I have met are very pro Kurdish, and most of them speak Kurdish. They are nothing like the Assyrians. Many of them fought together with Peshmerga.

Chaldeans all live in 4 parts of Kurdistan, most of them in Bashur. But also in Bakur, Rojhalat and Rojava.

Here are for example Chaldean Christians from Mardin, North-Kurdistan.
Look how Kurdish they look:
